To eat fish and chips by the sea is one of Lucy’s favourite things to do. This particular picture is set in the quayside of Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk. At the end of the small harbour is the wonderfully named ‘Jolly Sailor Yard’ and in the middle stands the iconic Maltings. This much-loved sea side town has provided Lucy with a rich source of subject matter for many years and always fills her with inspiration.
